A bird in a cage
Never I like the idea
Of keeping a bird in a cage
For me it appears like a prisoner
An innocent prisoner in cage
Who is kept by human blunder !
How cruel on the part of human taste
To imprison a poor harmless hapless creature
That flies freely in the blue sky with such ecstasy
Spreading it’s nimble feathers
With a strong determination in mind !
What a beautiful dream
It must be carrying in mind
To collect some food
For it’s hatchlings
Who must be eagerly waiting
For their lovable mother
The small nest too must be waiting
Anxiously for it’s owner !
But what an unfortunate thing to happen
And what a heartbroken experience for the bird
When it’s cought to fulfill
Some human being’s selfish joy
To be kept in an iron caze
And fed daily with some grains and nuts
Or kill the hapless bird one day
To present a dish on the dining table \u2026 Alas !<\/p>\n\n\n\n
